The Milt Guymon Endowment Award was established in 1992.
Milton "Milt" Guymon (died October 1, 1980) was a tireless crusader and chronicler for sportsmen in Oregon. In addition to his service with Multnomah Anglers & Hunters, he was the press relations and education officer for the Oregon State Fish & Game Commission where he published countless newspaper and magazine articles and bulletins and advocated for sportsmen's right with the United States Senate. The Milt Guymon Endowment Award is awarded annually to a full-time junior, senior, or post-baccalaureate student who displays evidence of leadership, volunteerism, and potential for a successful career; 13 deserving students have received the scholarship to date, listed below.
