The Department of Fisheries, Wildlife, and Conservation Sciences was established in 1935 and has had the same mission since its creation: conservation of natural resources. Because we share the same mission, Multnomah Anglers and Hunters began partnering with the department just 7 years after it was founded to fund scholarships for promising students dedicated to fulfilling our shared goal. While the quantity and amount of scholarships vary every year, their impact cannot be understated.
